Burlesque - Burlesques' definition is the "art of the striptease". As a rule, I concentrate more on the art than the stripping, being the artist and generally creative person I am. I feel that if you dont have the art then its just stripping with costumes, which I think lacks something vital. I have nothing against strippers. I just wouldnt describe it as burlesque. If I take off my clothes, I want to do it with pride, confidence, sensuality, sometimes comedy, but always artistically. I never did anything theatrical. I always got way too nervous to sing worth a damn. However, working with BCB has not made me nervous, though you might want to check again with me after our shows saturday. I love the vintage aspect that BCB concentrates on as well as a very full diverse entertainment factor. You never get bored with the shows they produce. I can and am very proud to be working with them.

Knitting - I love KNITTING! WOW! During the summmer, I dont do as much knitting as normally, because it gets so hot but I love to knit as much as I can during cooler months. I try to challenge myself with each new project by learning something new. Doesnt happen when I repeat a project usually, but I am quite fine with that. I love watching tv or listening to an audiobook while I am knitting because it keeps my mind occupied.

Love - To me it has many definitions. IT is an umbrella term. How it is said and in what context usually defines the type of love. I tell my close friends I love them because I do. If they are good and honest friends its easy to love them. I love my Step Mom and dad, my siblings, my mother and stepdad because they are the most awesome and loving and supportive people in the world. Lucky me. I tell James I love him because I do. HE is a wonderful boy and I am very lucky to be his Mom-type. I tell Thomas I love him because above all others, I love him the most, if such a thing can be measured and compared. I know how lucky I am to be surrounded by these people and more. I really feel loved. I think if more people loved, more people showed love through kindness, compassion, and concideration, the world would be a much better place.


Parenting - This is a new part to my life and a blessed one at that. ITs an ever evolving process, thats for sure. James is an outstanding kid. I never understood when my mom said she was my mom within weeks of becoming my parent. Now I totally understand. Its rewarding in seeing him grow and change and become better. ITs frustrating and fun. Most definately though, it is a challenge that Thomas and I meet together.
