Burlesque - Burlesques' definition is the "art of the striptease". As a rule, I concentrate more on the art than the stripping, being the artist and generally creative person I am. I feel that if you dont have the art then its just stripping with costumes, which I think lacks something vital. I have nothing against strippers. I just wouldnt describe it as burlesque. If I take off my clothes, I want to do it with pride, confidence, sensuality, sometimes comedy, but always artistically. I never did anything theatrical. I always got way too nervous to sing worth a damn. However, working with BCB has not made me nervous, though you might want to check again with me after our shows saturday. I love the vintage aspect that BCB concentrates on as well as a very full diverse entertainment factor. You never get bored with the shows they produce. I can and am very proud to be working with them.

Knitting - I love KNITTING! WOW! During the summmer, I dont do as much knitting as normally, because it gets so hot but I love to knit as much as I can during cooler months. I try to challenge myself with each new project by learning something new. Doesnt happen when I repeat a project usually, but I am quite fine with that. I love watching tv or listening to an audiobook while I am knitting because it keeps my mind occupied.

Love - To me it has many definitions. IT is an umbrella term. How it is said and in what context usually defines the type of love. I tell my close friends I love them because I do. If they are good and honest friends its easy to love them. I love my Step Mom and dad, my siblings, my mother and stepdad because they are the most awesome and loving and supportive people in the world. Lucky me. I tell James I love him because I do. HE is a wonderful boy and I am very lucky to be his Mom-type. I tell Thomas I love him because above all others, I love him the most, if such a thing can be measured and compared. I know how lucky I am to be surrounded by these people and more. I really feel loved. I think if more people loved, more people showed love through kindness, compassion, and concideration, the world would be a much better place.


Parenting - This is a new part to my life and a blessed one at that. ITs an ever evolving process, thats for sure. James is an outstanding kid. I never understood when my mom said she was my mom within weeks of becoming my parent. Now I totally understand. Its rewarding in seeing him grow and change and become better. ITs frustrating and fun. Most definately though, it is a challenge that Thomas and I meet together.

Im 27 and quite happy about it.

I picked up knitting.OH god.

Wow. its been a long time since I have posted anything. I have been going through a pretty rough time, now living with My gma, divorcing my husband of three years and dealing with it. Its been Chaotic at the best of times. Soon... Very soon I plan on beginning to post more stuff. ITs not that I havent been doing art... its that its mostly web stuff.  Crests of some noble houses, web buttons for forums, signatures etc.

SO B and I go and drop of das dog at the Rents house so that they can watch her while we do the work of moving without her spazzing. We went and got the moving truck and then headed home to wait on ppls to show so we could do more than pack. SOme arrived later than expected, but they sure made up for it. Brians cousin Matt bought and served us all Pizza. Thanks Matt! Emily, B's Sister came over to help unpack. She got a lot of our kitchen done.

IT took two loads but we finally got everything put from the house to the apartment with the exception of a few minor things. With our freinds help, we got a lot unpacked. I couldnt do any real lifting and had to stop myself on more than one occassion to make sure that I didnt lift things. I felt useless half the time, but my freinds made it much less hard to be the "foreman" ALmost all our books, cd's and dvds were unpacked and put away on thier perspective shelves. Shelly Seriously helped me get the living room, the sunroom, and the office unpacked and in working order (though of course, not the electronic stuff perse) All the furniture is where it is going to live now. Happiness. We had a lovely dinner with Shelly, Jonathon, Nora (thier daughter), Cass, and B and I went to dinner on behalf of Jonathon. We got taken out to China lee for a really awesome dinner.

B and I worked today on unpacking and getting all the little things set up. OUr cable works and is set up in all three rooms. THe internet is up and running with no problems. OUr computers and theater are set up. Lots more clothing has been put away in its rightful place. Books have started to be organized. There is still a lot to do, but It is sooooooooooo little compared to what it could have been had we not had help in moving AND unpacking! My sister came over for a few hours to help unpack things and organize things and then we took her to the pool to swim. OMG this pool ROCKS. I love this apartment complex!

My sister turns 16 in a few weeks!! ISNT IT FAB! I love her so much. She is so cute. Sidda is as cute as ever. So is Savvy. I like being a part of their lives. Ummmm I may be going to UTC as opposed to spending too much money on online courses. Hopefully Ill get my review at work soon so I can get a raise. I finally did get somewaht caught up on my work so I dont have to stay late this week as I have been for the last three. Ummm.... Im still doing the Strip aerobics DVD's ITs kickin my ass, but Im starting to feel a difference in my body. As well, I CAN TOUCH MY TOES!!! With the excersizing, I now feel the wish to eat healthier more than I did before.
